Great access to city center, especially Shinjuku! There are supermarkets and drugstores in front of the station not to mention the numerous local stores and convenience stores. The sharehouse is in a quiet residential area that you’ll forget you are in Tokyo.
House
The Kamikitazawa sharehouse is a relaxing and homey sharehouse that many housemates say that they would want to live in for a long time. The house is very spacious (a rarity in Tokyo) and has three lavatories. The kitchen is connected to the living room. This place is great for hosting parties. You can chill in your private airy bedroom. Because the building was once a dormitory, the rooms are well proportioned.
Community
This a close-knit house where residents can cook or go to festivals together and is recommended for those who have not lived in a sharehouse before. Your Japanese housemates are looking forward to meeting you. We have a young professional, an artist, and a student living here currently.
At the monthly house meeting led by the house manager, housemates can discuss the distribution of cleaning duties and house rules over dinner. Sometimes another sharehouse can join in. We can all catch up on each other’s lives. Communication is always possible. There is a LINE group for the housemates and house manager. This is a cozy and peaceful house where housemates can all get along and escape the hustle and bustle of city life in Tokyo.
