Kichijoji has lots of shops, bars, restaurants. It also has the well-known Inokashira Park.
Our sharehouse is only a few minutes from the heart of Kichijoji and provides excellent access to other popular destinations through the two nearby stations.
House
This is a large sharehouse located on the back of the main street from Kichijoji Station. Living here combines the peace and comfort of a traditional house with the excitement you can expect from Tokyo’s city life. There’s a large garden, large living room, large kitchen, and large rooms. You can live happily here.
Community
There are American & Japanese couple with a baby living in the house. Also a sports coauch who travel internationally. Residents are down to earth, easy going people. Sometimes we share a meal or have a cooking events with friends.
Some people haven’t cooked until now but have started cooking at this sharehouse because they can use the shared space comfortably. Conversations between housemates can be enjoyed over the new kitchen counter while cooking.
At the monthly house meeting led by the house manager, housemates can discuss the distribution of cleaning duties and house rules over dinner. Sometimes another sharehouse can join in. We can all catch up on each other’s lives. Communication is always possible. There is a LINE group for the housemates and house manager. This is a cozy and peaceful house where housemates can all get along and escape the hustle and bustle of city life in Tokyo.
